Well come on bankers, you will save us with your good intentions
You are the first who need to be saved, there’s no room for questions
Just look away from suicides; it’s their lack of prosperity
So I will happily shout, “hurray I love austerity”


25.6% unemployment rate; 20,000 additional homeless people; closed banks;
Large shops with empty shelves; 44% of population below poverty line; 50,000 suicides;
The birth rate has fallen; 20% closed shops in historic centre; 64% adults live with their parents;
50% young people are unemployed; capital controls; 35% jump in suicide rates.


Well bless you priests for feeding the poor with sating prayers
Don’t enrage the God by trading your gold for a bag of pears
You’re adding a stone to this nation’s lack of solidarity
But still I’m shouting out loud “hurray I love austerity”
